Digital transformation in Northern Hesse: E-Government

One of the driving challenges for cities and municipalities is the topic of E-Government. A shortage of personnel and resources, a lack of exchange between stakeholders, silo solutions and a lack of role models are some of the hurdles that municipalities have to overcome in order to provide their citizens with digital services. At a workshop in the Werra-Meißner Lab, approaches to solutions for northern Hesse were discussed on the basis of regional practical examples. The participants included representatives from politics and administration like Nicole Rathgeber, District Administrator of the Werra-Meißner district, Dr. Christine Prokop-Scheer, founder of Lokalprojekte gGmbH, and Dr. Florian Hartleb, Managing Director Hanse Advice.
