Our chair is a teaching and research institution of the Faculty of Mechanical and Civil Engineering at Helmut-Schmidt-University, which deals with the planning, conceptual design and construction of road pavements.

In a constantly evolving world in which mobility plays a major role, the sustainable and efficient design as well as maintenance of road infrastructure is of central importance.

Our aim is to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to the challenges of road construction and to pass on our knowledge to the next generation of engineers. We are pleased that you are visiting us and are happy to answer any questions you may have.
