Leslie Gauditz is a researcher at the chair of Sociology. Her work focuses on social movement research, social conflict, and qualitative methods She holds a PhD in political science and completed her doctorate at the Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences on solidarity in activist projects in the field of forced displacement and migration.
She currently works at the project “(In-)Security in University Contexts” in which she investigates how secure students of different backgrounds feel in university spaces.
From 2021 to 2023 she worked in the project “Emergent Norms in Corona Protests” funded by the Volkswagen Foundation. The project was conducted in cooperation with the Macro Violence Research Group at the Hamburg Institute for Social Research.
