We are pleased to announce that two members of the Chair have recently completed their doctoral theses: Ina Sander and Annina Förschler have successfully defended their doctoral theses, marking an important milestone in their academic careers.
Ina Sander defended her dissertation entitled ‘Toward Critical Datafication Literacy: The Role of Online Resources in Fostering Critical Education about Datafication’ at Cardiff University (Data Justice Lab) on 16 November 2023. Her thesis was supervised by Dr Joanna Redden, Dr Arne Hintz and Dr Francesca Sobande. Annina Förschler defended her doctoral thesis at the Helmut Schmidt University Hamburg (Department of Humanities and Social Sciences) on 22 April 2024. Her dissertation is entitled ‘Governance transformations and new forms of policymaking using the example of the digitalisation of (school) education in Germany’ and was supervised by Prof. Dr. Sigrid Hartong and Prof. Dr. Felicitas Macgilchrist.
