Niklas Masuhr is a Research Fellow at the Defence AI Observatory (DAIO). Previously, he worked in different roles at the Center for Security Studies at ETH Zurich (CSS) and the Institute for Security Policy at Kiel University (ISPK). At CSS, he focused on the analysis of contemporary war and conflict – chiefly the war in Ukraine – and researched doctrine, force development and military technology. He studied Political Science and Strategic Studies in Mannheim, Tartu and at Reading University. He currently is a doctoral candidate at HSU.
