ZIM Network “Digital Shadows”
In the ZIM network “Digital Shadows” digital twins, digital shadows are integrated into the life cycle of production technology in order to optimize the life cycle of the product, the production machine and the process. Due to the large amounts of data that arise in production processes, principles of machine learning (ML) should be used for the automated evaluation. With the help of semantic technologies, the o.g. Link between the digital master and the digital shadow can be realized. It is very important to note that the adaptation of the digital twin during the life cycle should not be done by humans, but by the system itself.
The DIGITAL SHADOWS project is funded by the BMWi in the ZIM Networks funding program.
