Building on last workshop, the continuation “PREGOV IV – Algorithmic Prediction and Governance of Human Wellbeing and Social Care” will take place in Hamburg, Germany, November 13-14, 2025. The Workshop is part of the dtec.bw Research project „Digitalisierung in der freien Wohlfahrtspflege (DiWoP)“. This workshop is funded by dtec.bw – Digitalisierungs- und Technologieforschungszentrum der Bundeswehr for which we are very grateful. dtec.bw is funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.

The workshop will aim to further explore the increasing digitalization of public governance, with special focus on social care, and the extent to which new methods of datafication, quantification, and automation enable governments and other powerful stakeholders to construct forward-looking predictions.
