We have successfully completed the first funding phase of the hpc.bw project (dtec.bw) and have achieved countless exciting calculations and results, which were made possible by the CBRZ and its compute platforms HSUper and ISCC. In relation to this achievement, we will organize a wrap-up meeting, where we will not only present the diverse results and research projects but also showcase the variety of topics and methodological approaches in the broad world of HPC in a wide range of discipline.
Invitation: We cordially invite you to attend the public part of our wrap-up meeting of our 1st founding period from 2021 to 2024 on 3rd March 2025, including a greeting by the HSU president and giving you the opportunity to gain insight into an overview of hpc.bw activities so far. You will find the schedule of the day on our website here.
User Poster: On this occasion, we cordially invite you to submit a user poster for presentation at our hpc.bw meeting on 3rd March, 2025 from 14:45-15:30. The aim is to share your initial calculations or existing results, that you achieved during the first dtec.bw founding phase using HSUper or ISCC, with other researchers relying on these resources, all at a low-effort level. Feel free to base your contribution on existing poster(s) (e.g. from prior conferences or workshops in your research field). If applicable, please include hpc.bw-specific points: (a) how hpc.bw has supported your research, and (b) what you have already achieved by leveraging HPC resources, either in general or specifically through HSUper and ISCC; (c) when you write your qualification (PhD/Postdoc) within the scope of the hpc.bw project. Please include respective acknowledgement of hpc.bw/dtec.bw on the poster.
The user poster should be in size A1. If you would like us to print your poster, please send us your document by 15th February, 2025. In the attached file, you will find a dtec.bw-poster template that you can use for your poster (which is, however, not obligatory!). The related dtec.bw-logo is available in the appendix. We kindly ask you to register by 21th February, 2025 via email to [email protected] if you would like to attend the poster presentation and the event. Please register with the name of the poster presenter and a title of the poster.
