Curriculum Vitae
Professor Meywerk studied physics and mathematics at the TU Braunschweig with a focus on applied mathematics and theoretical physics (funded by the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes). From 1991 to 1996 he did his doctorate in mechanical engineering at the TU Braunschweig in engineering mechanics, from 1997 to 2002 Professor Meywerk was a CAE engineer in the department for CAE method development at Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg. Parallel to his industrial employment he was lecturer at the TU Braunschweig (engineering mechanics, theroretical mechanics). Since 2002 he has been a university professor for automotive engineering at the Helmut Schmidt University (University of the Federal Armed Forces) in Hamburg.
