Independent Suspension Test Rig

The half-axle test rog allows dynamic investigations on independent wheel suspensions for non-driven wheels, i.e. in addition to the wheel also wheel carriers, brakes and wheel suspensions. The brake system, including the ABS interventions, is involved in the experiment. In addition to the wheel load and steering (side slip angle), the camber angle can be changed dynamically. Due to the relatively high drive power of the external drum of 460 kW, trips with high values for acceleration (or braking) can be carried out.
