Profile
Beyza Cinar has been a research assistant at the Chair of Data Engineering since 2024. With her expertise in medical data science, she leads the Hypoglycemia detection in type 1 diabetes project, among other research projects. Her research focuses on the early detection of hypoglycemia using machine learning methods trained on time series data. A key objective of her work is the development of a digital twin to optimize patient-centered diabetes management, with a particular emphasis on efficient data processing and modeling to provide AI-ready data.
