The Chair of Applied Materials Technology, together with the Helmholtz Center Hereon, supervised two international students as part of their Bachelor’s thesis. The two students Magnus Jensen Tolo and Jesper Vollan-Karlsen from the Norwegian Navy wrote their bachelor thesis on the topic “Investigation of the heat treatment of metal hydride powder for restoring the hydrogen capacity”. The experimental work took place at the Helmholtz Center Hereon. As a gesture of their appreciation, they were presented with a coat of arms by and on behalf of the Royal Norwegian Naval Academy on 19.11.2024. In addition, the two supervisors of the thesis, Maximilian Passing and Gerd Stahlkopf (not in the photo), also received a medal as a token of gratitude and appreciation. The cooperation with the students was characterized by mutual appreciation and we are pleased about this cooperation and hope for a continuation in the future.
